THE EIFFEL TOWER
Who can imagine going to Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower? Watch it glow with different colors during the night time. It’s one of the best places to enjoy a panoramic view of Paris.
RUE CRÉMIEUX
There is a street in Paris known for being the most colorful street in Paris! here it’s all about color and how sweet life can be. Its name is Rue Crémieux, and its inhabitants would surely prefer that we not reveal it to you because it is a little corner of paradise. This charming street is located in the 12th arrondissement, between Rue de Lyon and Rue de Bercy.
THE PALAIS GARNIER
The magnificent edifice dedicated to the art of ballet stands at the end of Avenue de L’opera and dominates the square of the eponymous name. Gilded sculptures on the roof of the Opéra Garnier will dazzle you with their beauty on a bright day as well as at night when the Opera House is illuminated.
BELLEVILLE STREET ART
Belleville’s rue Dénoyez sports Paris’ most dazzling street art. Everything on the short street, from rubbish bins and flowerpots to lamp posts and window shutters, is covered from head to toe in colorful art. Artist workshops line the street where local kids kick footballs around and street art ‘happenings’ break out on sultry summer nights.
JARDIN DES TUILERIES
The gardens, which separate the Louvre from the Place de la Concorde, are a cultural walking place for Parisians and tourists where Maillol statues stand alongside those of Rodin or Giacometti. The gardens’ two ponds are perfect for relaxation. The Musée de l’Orangerie, where visitors can admire the works of Monet, is located southwest of Tuileries.
THE LOUVRE MUSEUM
Considered to be the most visited art museum in the world, one must not forget the Louvre Museum as a destination to be in Paris. It serves as the home of many famous artworks of the pre 20th-century era. The place has a lot of history in itself so visiting it would also mean traveling back in time.
PANTHÉON
Located on the left bank of the Seine river, the Panthéon captivates you with its spectacular dome seen from all parts of Paris. It was built by Louis XV in honor of St. Genevieve as an expression of happiness on his recovery from a serious illness. Completed in 1790 Panthéon first served as a church, but now serves as a mausoleum.
PONT ALEXANDRE III
The Pont Alexandre III is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine in Paris. The bridge is widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in the city. It is classified as a French Monument Historique.
NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL
Trips to Paris will never be complete without visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral which features architectural elements that date back to the 12th century. It is widely considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture in the world!
SACRÉ-COEUR
You should definitely visit the Sacré-Cœur, which is a basilica that is located at the highest point of the city of Paris. It was completed in 1919 and honors the French victims of the Franco-Prussian war of 1870.
